Nashville, It's Me. Reghan.
Hey. Wow. Lot’s to talk about.
This summer, a lot has changed. I’ve been super quiet about a lot of it too, because I’ve just been trying to process everything so far.
If you don’t know me very well, you might not know that I’m a really big home body. I love staying in and hanging out with my family. I am super close to my family, and I was really scared for the big steps ahead of me this year.
I graduated college, I moved back home, and I had lots of great family time…
I also had my last day as a dance teacher with my wonderful students, I got to visit Nashville a lot to see my boyfriend of 6 years, and I made a crazy decision.
I decided I was moving to Nashville, TN. After 3 years of a long distance relationship, Brady & I had had enough.
The summer was full of some family events, road trips, and some bittersweet goodbyes. I made a lot of changes in my life, including starting to work from home (a dream of mine).
So, this September, I moved to Nashville, TN. And I stayed off social media for most of it, so I thought I’d share the awesome week I had.
My family was so gracious and supportive, and helped me move all of my stuff (clothes, makeup, and all!) down to Tennessee and spent a few days getting me settled.
Here’s some pics from our night out on Broadway:
The next day, we hit up the zoo in the area and had a blast too. Even with 90+ degree weather.
Then I cried. A lot.
Remember when I mentioned how much my family means to me? Yeah, these are both tears of joy, excited for what’s ahead, and tears of sadness as I said goodbye to people who meant so much to me.
After a tearful goodbye with lots of hugs, I said hello to Nashville, TN.
For my first week, I got to fulfill another dream of mine.
I saw Paramore live for the first time ever. If you know Brady & I, you know how much we love music and going to concerts. This band has meant so much to me and they were on my concert bucket list.
Luckily, Paramore was holding a celebration of art in Nashville with artists from the area.
Here’s some pics from the great night:
And here’s my spam from our seats. I was singing so loud and dancing like crazy.
I really did cry hard and dance harder that week.
That week was an emotional roller coaster. But I was so lucky to have spent it with people that mattered.
I have so many things I want to share, but I’m not quite there yet with spilling my guts, so stay tuned as I get into blogging more and hopefully open up more.
